By the end of the program, participants can work through the process of community tourism development including the research, assessment, planning and marketing of local tourism that complements the community’s values and strategic vision.

Community Development Tourism Development educators provide long-term consultation to communities based on their needs and readiness to examine issues.
A manual provides research-based information, worksheets and suggestions on how to approach this work.
