the end of the course, students will:

Understand the key concepts and basic steps for impact assessment
- Be
able to prepare the information needed to estimate the economic impacts
of a project
- Understand
the basis of the multiplier effect
- Know
what attributes of a project are important in determining its demographic
impacts
- Understand
the concepts and methods of public service and fiscal impact assessment.
- Know
how to use socioeconomic impact information in a variety of decision
contexts.
