Homepage--Pioneers in a Changing Frontier Registration and Lodging

An information technology conference is being planned for Extension Educators in the North Central region. "Pioneers in a Changing Frontier" will be held December 1–2, 2004 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska. Conference goals are to:

  • Showcase community, business and governmental best practices using information technology.
  • Identify and provide an inventory of technology outreach educational activities and curriculum currently in place.
  • Identify staff development opportunities to expand the knowledge base.

The agenda will include examples of best practices in communities, state presentations on technology outreach activities, a discussion on Extension's role in information technology outreach, hands-on workshops, and time to strategize multistate collaborations.

Pioneers in a Changing Frontier is sponsored by the North Central Regional Information Technology Conference, Nebraska Rural Initiative, and the North Central Regional Center for Rural Development.
