About the 2005 NACDEP Conference



*Building Our Future Together* is the theme of the 2005 inaugural conference of the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals. Plenary sessions, workshops, research roundtables and resource fair exhibits will highlight programs and research developed and implemented by Cooperative Extension professionals and their federal, state and local partners. Program tracks include: Economic Development Community Decision-making Education and Workforce Development Information Technology Local Government and Community Services Land Use and Natural Resources Leadership Development The conference will begin Tuesday evening, February 15, 2005, and run through noon on Friday, February 18, 2005. The National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals is the organizational vehicle by which we in Extension can strengthen and coordinate the resources and delivery of community and economic development programs. Conference participants will have an opportunity to become involved in one of NACDEP's many activities.
